A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was shot dead in a shop.
The victim, who is thought to be 18, was shot in a Costcutter store, in Walworth, south east London.
Police said a number of suspects were seen leaving the scene in Camberwell Road on mopeds.
Officers were called to the shop after an emergency call to say a man had been shot.
The victim, who is black, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.25pm.
He is the 22nd teenager to be killed violently in the capital this year.
A police spokeswoman said: "At this early stage it appears the victim went into the shop and was then shot by a suspect."
London Ambulance Service, including the air ambulance, also attended the scene.
Police said the man, whose name has not been released, has not yet been formally identified.
A spokeswoman said a post-mortem examination will take place.
The murder is being investigated by officers from Operation Trident, the unit which specialises in gun crime within London's black community.
The man who was arrested is being held at a south London police station.
